Song Of Songs custom 1977
Glory Hallelujah
Roll On
Recorded during the summer of 1977, this album marked the first venture of David and the Giants into the Christian market place. "Before the cross, we played Yes and Jethro Tull" says lead guitarist and vocalist David Huff. But this album is an even blend to their patented ballads and light pop rock. Songs include "Roll On" (later covered by Wayne Watson), "Thank You jesus", and "Glory Hallelujah", a song previously released on their secular label.

Noah
Open Up Your Heart
The band's sophomore project pretty much picks up where the first one ended, with more love songs to Jesus, and a good mixture of pop rock. The maturity of the band comes through in this project, with better production that the first, and some deeper lyrics. The album opens with the original studio version of "Noah", a song that has been a concert standard over the years, as well as rerecorded several times. "Everybody Wants to go to Heaven" and "Open Up Your Heart" are two of the more pop tunes'on this release. The record closes with a 5 minute southern rock blues number, "He's Coming Back", complete with a very black gospel intro.

Step In My Shoes custom 1979
I'm In Love with Love
Step In My Shoes
Those acquainted with David and the Giants' current hard rock sound, will no doubt be surprised by the very mellow direction of this release. David Huff has said that his favorite songs are his love songs to the Lord. And this album has a number of them. "I'm in Love with Love" is one of the stand out tunes from this record, as is "The End of Time" (one of the very few David and the Giants tracks that does not feature David Huff on lead vocals), and title track is always worth a spin, with an invitation to "step in my shoes, see what I've found.
