Gospel Seed
Gary Luttrell and Mike Moore

Gospel Seed is a contemporary musical duo consisting of Michael Moore and Gary Luttrell. Begun in 1974, the duo has travelled extensively during the past four years. In addition to performing in coffee houses, schools and jails, Gospel Seed has also appeared on the 700 Club and the PTL Club. Musically the group has a unique sound, blending their intricate harmonies with the mellow sounds of guitar and autoharp. "We feel that our music ministry is just that, a ministry. The songs we write and sing tell a message of what Jesus Christ can do in a life. Our message in song is geared to the Christians to exhort and challenge them, as well as the unbeliever to show them their need for a Savior.

Count the Cost
Gospel Seed is the duo of Gary Luttrell and Mike Moore who play acoustic guitar and autoharp respectively. There's a fair folk album buried in here somewhere but doggone it if those string arrangements don't schmaltzify the whole thing. Orchestrated- to-the-hilt folk/rock/pop, heavy on the syrup. 'Top Ten' points the finger at secular artists like Bob Dylan, The Beatles, and Crosby, Stills and Nash - ah, Bob Larson would be proud. I've always appreciated the opening tune 'The Singer's Song'.
