Where Do You Want To Go?
One Man
Long-haired bunch apparently considered hip enough to score a major label deal. Had this been a private pressing a lotta collectors' be frothin' at the mouth to get a copy as it's decent west-coast rock with a progressive rural vibe. Some good blitzing guitar here and there, organ, piano rollin' along. Every copy I've ever seen is a cut-out, so I guess the guys didn't rake in the dinero. Effective use of orchestration on 'From The Father's Hand', less effective on a couple ballads - and thankfully that's all it's used - the rest of the LP is mid-rocking stuff or backwoods r&r- not particularly heavy but far from fluff. Guess I'm a little pickier on mainstream releases. Otherwise all I gots to say is this is a fine effort. Cool psychy rainbow gatefold cover.
