Hope of Glory

Hope Of Glory Shalom 1973
First release from this rather large orchestral rock ensemble. The group's name is taken from a Bible verse (Col. 1:27); "God willed to make know what is the. . . mystery. . . which is Christ in you, the hope of glory." Includes a cover version of Andrea Crouch's "I Didn't Think It Could Be." DS

Under the Spout Where The Glory Comes Out Shalom 1974
This strangely titled album is a continuation of their orchestral rock style. The group also released an album as the backup to singer Jim Moore; Unto Thee O Lord. DS

Same Sweet Song Tempo 1976
I've Been Wantin' To
Quimosabe's Last Ride
God Cared Enough
A change in personnel from the first two releases adding members Tim Wade, Rick Thigpen, Gary Ingram, Bubba Chambers, and Melvin Mar to their lineup. Harmony magazine claimed that "Same Sweet Song" and "I've Been Wantin' " were the best two songs on the album. Other songs included two penned by Jesus Music pioneer Danny Taylor and another by Pat Terry. DS

Second Look Chrism 1976
Good mix of country and rock'n'roll songs for their fourth album. Interesting calypso feel to the song "Lifesaver." Great guitar work on "Kiss of Life." Includes songs written by Bob Farrell and Danny Taylor. DS

Be Ready (Released on yellow vinyl) Chrism 1978
 Be Ready
 Heart Of A King
Released with a gatefold cover on gold vinyl. The songs have a disco feel. The back cover shot has the 'Saturday Night Fever' look to it. The song "Antiseptic Christian" is interesting. Includes songs written by Pat Terry and Gary S. Paxton. DS
