Nativity Custom 1975
A most endearing homemade Jesus rock LP with a sound reminiscent of UK's The Sheep. This is an Illinois band managed by Bill Lowry of Christ Is The Answer ministries. Joe Grier was a member of the hard-rocking e band and he brings some of that heaviness into Nativity as well. They are mildly progressive . There are melodic acoustic passages and like The Sheep they use organ a lot and alternate male and female vocals. David Eden (another e band graduate) did the LP art works as well as co-writing the magnificent 10-minute title track. Two different covers exist. KL
