Before wandering off into adult contemporary territory and Psalty kid things with friend and eventual hubby Ernie Rettino, Debby Kerner gave us this enjoyable platter of simple folk music. Not quite as stark as say Linda Rich but enough hands- off approach in the production to save from becoming sweetened mush. A good deal of the lp is simply Debby and guitar which suits me just fine. Debby's voice recalls Joan Baez and is especially well-suited to her minor-key compositions. KS
