Another one of Jesus music's versatile femme folkies handling songwriting, guitar, piano, synthesizer, and flute. Touch of Joni Mitchell in the vocals. Flying is a fairly uncomplicated brand of appealing folky soft rock, with assistance from John Fischer and Mark Spoelstra on guitars. Beautiful tranquil stuff - the kinda stuff I need after prolonged exposure to modern loud grungers. KS

This Is Not A Dream is more piano-based. Strings overly sweeten some tunes, but the rich orchestration on 'Not My Will' combined with resonant acoustic guitar stirs emotion as it deals with Christ's prayer in Gethsemane - the kind of classical approach that sets apart artists like Michael Card from the adult contemporary norm.
