While not officially a Jesus Music group, People did have some spiritual slant to some of their music due to the presence of a young singer/songwriter named Larry Norman.

A young Norman
Larry didn't take drugs, didn't identify with the counter-culture philosophy, and continued to walk his own path and express his own beliefs in his music. His first album on Capitol was titled "We Need a Whole Lot More of Jesus, and a Lot Less Rock and Roll." The album cover was an illustration of Larry and the band in the recording studio, with Jesus standing in their midst. Without Larry's consent or knowledge, Capitol Records changed the name of the album to "I Love You," to coincide with the success of a million-selling single they had released earlier(was a cover of the Zombies song). Capitol also changed the contents of the album to include B-sides which they felt were more "accessible." Larry left the band the same day the album hit the stores.

"Both Sides of People" does not mention Larry Norman in the credits but you can hear his vocals.
