North Carolina band Seeds covers a number of styles on their debut and perform them all well. 'Know What I'm Talking About' and the title track are solid clavinet-laden rock/funk workouts. Seeds sounds just as home doing Jesus music ballads ('Hey Hallelujah' and 'You Gotta Decide') as they do on fast rockers like 'I Love Him' (complete with fierce electric guitar riff). 'Salvation Suite' in three parts comprises the whole of side two, including some Traffic-style jazz indulgences on the quiet slow rocker'You're Runnin'. Into The Wind has some nice songs, too, though much of it ends up in the adult contemporary camp. KS
