The SonLight Orchestra is actually Kim Rose (arranger/conductor/keyboardist) and Austin Roberts (producer), who used synthesizers to create arrangements of some of the most widely known Jesus music of the mid-1970s. Kim Rose's background includes classical music training at Boston's Berklee Music Conservatory, while Austin Roberts is best known as a singer/songwriter on such secular hits as "Something's Wrong With Me" and "Rocky." The two men met when Roberts was producing a group of which Rose was a member.
